It is unanimously agreed that actress Elizabeth Taylor (1932 – 2011) was regarded as one of the world’s most beautiful women. But did you know that she was also the owner of an extensive collection of some of the most beautiful jewels ever as well?
In 2011, her collection was sold at Christie’s (New York) and raised approximately £74.9 million. Amongst the rarest pieces were some designed by Bulgari, David Webb, Cartier and Van Cleef & Arpels.
