Chanterelle, Brooch in sterling silver, recycled ebony and yellow gold

This unique brooch was created using a variety of artisanal techniques. Pistils, handcrafted in 14K yellow gold sit in the cast silver flower cup. The ebony frill is carved out of a castaway violin fingerboard. These elements are connected to the pin by a handcrafted sterling silver screw and bolt—A symbiose of artistic sensibility and technical knowhow.
